LLL MISSION STATEMENT
La Leche League mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to helping women who want to breastfeed.
LA LECHE LEAGUE - TYNE AND WEAR
La Leche League Tyne and Wear offers support and information through:Monthly Baby Meetings, where you can receive help and reassurance from LLL Leaders and meet other breastfeeding mothers with young babies.
Toddler Meetings for encouragement and support of women nursing older babies and toddlers.
Telephone help from local accredited LLL Leaders.
Lending library with books on childbirth, breastfeeding, and related subjects.
Sales of books from the LLL catalogue, breastfeeding cards and more!
